Serves: 4 Cooking Time: 15

Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • 6 large oranges
  • 2 pink lady apples
  • 1 in fresh ginger knob
  • Juice of 1 passion fruit

Instructions

1

Cut the orange segments in half and juice on a citrus juicer.

2

Run the apples, carrots and ginger through your juicer of choice. Blend both the fruit and citrus juices together and use a fine mesh strainer into a clean jug.

3

Take the passion fruit and cut in half, place the seeds and any pulp in a clean mesh strainer and use the back of a spoon to apply pressure and mix it in with the other juice.

Notes

No passion fruits lying around your store? If you can find a little puree in the cocktail mixer section I would highly recommend it for that umami flavor, but if not don't stress it and just omit it.

Amita Motion. Anyone who has ever lived in Greece or been associated with the country in any form, pretty much knows exactly what I am talking about. Amita is one of the largest producers of packaged juices in the country and the staple flavor that everyone knows is the blue bottle with motion written on it. While you can be certain with a product this shelf stable and touting essential vitamins and minerals, most of the flavors and vitamins come in the manufactured powdered form. After reading a list of the flavors in the juice, I made a homemade version thats almost there but more flavorful and healthier!
